lmt out
Took a little looking caught a couple walleye everywhere we stopped. But found a good school about 45 min before we had to leave. Ended with 13 keepers and 9 shorts. 18Ft was best. But caught from 15 to 21 ft. Bb and crawler harnesses. Only kept one for the wife all the rest were released. Don't know if I believe your theory last full moon in July 9th was the day we had 61 fish on the 10th. Johnsfolly
Big Keene
does anyone have anything more than anecdotal evidence that the moon affects fishing? does anyone keep records that show for X amount of days before/after a full moon fish activety increases/decreases? i have heard that it slows them down, but i cant say for certain i have ever noticed anything. redshad
It doesn't have to be exactly on the full moon. Usually fishing picks up for about a week on both sides (before and after) of the full moon. I am a big believer on the moons effect on fish activity. It happens every 2 weeks with full and new moons. When I lived in Texas you could really tell during the spawn. Every 2 week there would be a new wave of spawners go to the beds. I have kept fishing logs since the early 90's and most of my better days have been around a full or new moon. I am a believer! On a side note: GO CARDS!!!!
