I hitched a ride with a buddy yesterday.  We launched the boat around 130 and fished till dark.  All I can say is the fishing is heating up, with the cooler water temps.  We caught 20+ bass yesterday and lost as many as we caught.  We fished the HSB area.  We caught them on spoons, drop shot and top water.  All fish were high in the water column.   It didn't matter if we were in 20 or 60 feet all fish were in the upper 15 or less.   Water temp was 82.  Good luck out there fellas stay safe

Nice bunch of eyes.  I'll have to get down there next week and check out some mid-lake fishing, haven't been on that part of the lake since early spring.

The biggest fish had eggs , were those eggs absorbed and not laid this spring or has the developing stage already begun?.....I have never caught one in August with eggs .
