Gavin Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Got in the game today. 2 $99 Crossman gas springs for the girls and a new toy for me too. Can't wait for Christmas! fishinwrench 1
fishinwrench Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 I've been on the Crosman custom shop site for hours. Just spent 368.00 Oh well, ya only live once, right?
jdmidwest Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Nice. I bought a new 1322 a few years back when they came out again, total dud. No power. My old 1377 from the 80's still had more punch than the new one. Wally world did a clearance back in the summer and I picked up a new 1377 for the grand kid for $25. Still in package till he gets big enough for it. Might have to look into hot rodding the 1322, it needs something. fishinwrench Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 The ones from the custom shop are supposed to be "improved" in the power category somewhat. To take them further is probably at the cost of accuracy. Doesn't matter how powerful it is if it shoots grapefruit sized groups. I got turned off by CO2 stuff when I was younger, bought a fairly expensive Beeman and took it bullfroggin'. The first frog I shot at the pellet bounced off his head. I was pretty disgusted with it. I've been assured that the 2300KT from the custom shop will have plenty of short range punch for cottonmouths/copperheads, bullfrogs and the like.
Ketchup Posted December 10, 2017 Author Posted December 10, 2017 Check out the 50 cal. air rifle. Crazy that an air gun can shoot that size. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

jdmidwest Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Melt one of them down and recast a whole bunch of .177 pellets. That is a chunk of lead going downrange each load. I just sent 20 sailing downrange that weigh 240 gr out of my 50 cal blackpowder this afternoon. fishinwrench Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 They are gonna mess around and get airguns put in the same category as firearms if they don't quit. Won't be anymore ordering them online and having them shipped to your door. I don't think that big bore airguns will ever be anything I care to own.
Ketchup Posted December 11, 2017 Author Posted December 11, 2017 my thoughts exactly wrench. Its already stepped over the line, and the first mentally unstable nutt that uses one to harm someone will open up that can of worms. As of now, air guns are off the radar for the anti gun idiots.
