I'm sure it was, pellets get more wind deflection than you think they should.  At 40 yards with only a 10 mph cross-breeze I am a whole mildot off.   

I just recently discovered that I shoot way more consistent with my scope on 6x than on 9x.  My mildots make more sense at that magnification level too.   A squirrels head is exactly one mildot space thick at 30 yds. when on 6x.  Makes ranging my targets a breeze.   An added plus is that I can't see my heart beat and all my other little tremors so it gives me a bit more confidence right before the trigger releases.

It's going like crazy, been shooting a bunch.  And I plan to get a squirrel hunt squeezed in before the season ends.....if the wind would just quit howling every day. 

Buying a Benjamin Fortitude .22 as soon as the Gen 2's hit the shelves. And I guess a hand pump.  I'm not ready to spring for a compressor and tank yet.

Also doing a Crosman 2100 project for my kid.

Wish i could say the same. They have been stowed away in the closet for awhile. Had planned to do a little squirrel hunting myself, but haven’t made it out. 

I keep looking pretty hard at a pistol. With so many options I have no clue where to start.

As far as pistols go the choices are few IMO

Most are pretty anemic.  I like my hotrodded 1322 but all that pumping gets old after awhile.

The Maruader pistol is kinda sweet.

I looked at that one, as well as the RWS LP8 as well as the Hatsan 25.  I watched a video of the Crossman  2300S and looks like a good shooter, to the point im leaning towards it.  

I know you were running skeered after you mentioned a friendly shoot day last year, loser buying pizza,  If you set a date for this year, i will get that bought and start shootin again.

I ordered a tricked out 2300KT from the Crosman custom shop and I sent that sucker right back.  It was a 10 yard indoor paper puncher at best.  Loud as hell.... but not even close to the power I was promised.   That's what led me to build my own 1322.   Honestly my 1322 is just as accurate, and is more powerful with 3 pumps than that POS was on a fresh CO2 cartridge. 

I'm doing another 1322 in a camo carbine configuration with 14" barrel here pretty soon.  That's gonna be my porch plinker and truck gun, and will go with me on bike rides/canoe floats.

I'd love to get a few of us together for some target shooting.  I'm plum ate up with this stuff.

Well crud.  Was going to order that 2300s off Amazon as it’s cheaper than anywhere, but wanting something I can keep due to being happy with it.  Watched a few other videos of it this morning, and most like it for competition shooting. 

 

That at should be a good shooter. The camo is catchy.  

 

Im game anytime for a shoot. I will bring food if we do a cook also.
