Daryk Campbell Sr Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 In the St Louis area, where can I launch a canoe on a trailer? Have a trolling motor, would like to use it. I want to take advantage of the clear water just to look around. A fish caught would be a bonus. Just was told that I have the next two days off. Have to burn vacation. BilletHead Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Days off good deal Daryk. Have fun and have good luck. Maybe the good fishermen up that way can help you as they are sure enjoying themselves catching some quality fish, BilletHead Quillback and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" Daryk Campbell Sr Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 Thank you for the link. I know that Flamm City is to low to launch. I'm curious how far up until I will have access to the water. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Gavin Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Maybe that park by Denny Dennis, Valley Park, or Times Beach..Have not been west of 270 during daylight hours in a couple weeks., You will find a spot but you will have to do a little scouting.. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Al Agnew Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Times Beach (route 66 state park) is fine to launch. I was there a few days ago. Valley Park and Greentree Park are probably fine as well. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
moguy1973 Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Yep. Kirkwood and Valley Park are good to go. Was down there the other day and the ramps were in the water, and like Al said, rt 66. Hog Wally Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Times beach will be the best view and miles of deep water slow flow. Do not seek the treasure down stream! The bridge area has been taking some boats out Daryk Campbell Sr 1
