Not legal in Missouri as they are furbearers. You can legally shoot them to protect your property but you need to report it to your local Conservation officer and better have a good excuse.

MoCarp what does Bfing mean? Please explain,

hey I had to watch a bunch of beavers getting pounded just to find this!...now my mind has been corrupted all in the name of OAF!

I have seen all sorts of things Bfed....gamefish like muskies, bass....critters beavers, muskrats, raccoons.....even armadillos......

Some guys bored and liquored up and nothing is taboo to shoot....I even have seen where bottlenose dolphins get shot

once a few years ago saw a Bfing boat shoot a few walleyes just down from the pothole...ever see a walleye at night under lights? I wish that from feb 1 to may 1 no night Bfing from the beaver creek to the pothole

one of the reason there has been conflict between eurocarpers and Bfers is they love nothing better than to go shoot up known bank areas where eurocarpers frequent...and "releasing" a few floaters to be found by them.....

one of the reasons you see dumped fish is a long night of shooting last thing is proper fish disposal and they end up dumped at the ramp of along the road we all have seen that...if the latest you could bf at night was 3am...that would make people get off the water earlier and help give the more time to dispose of fish....its gotten so bad in oklahoma black buffalo are now a species of concern....I could go on but that was not the intent of this thread

I should note I have a couple of places that the fishing has gotten better because the fish have thinned and allowed more food...before you caught many 8-10# commons with a big fish being 15#..now you catch 1/2 as many but the biggest fish run much bigger but the avg fish are smaller....5-7# avg but you may catch a 20 or so.........

I was thinking the other kind of beavers

I am still wanting to know what you were meaning by this remark, still waiting for your intelligent response MoCarp,

BilletHead and others waiting.
