Back in the summer, weak from radiation, I attempted to launch a boat by myself in a way different from normal.  Instead of tying the rope to the crank on trailer, I just held on to it instead.  As I pulled up the ramp, with the door open and my arm and leg dangling outside, the door slammed shut.  Hurt like hell and I shoved it into neutral to stop and recover.  Forgot I was on a ramp incline and other foot was not paying attention.  I stopped it from going too far, but squalled tires doing so, truck went in farther than normal.  Felt like an idiot and decided that I really should not even be there in the first place in my condition, alone.  Loaded up and went home.

Always amazes me though to see bystanders and watchers get right up in amongst it all.  Even once an OLD wrecker that was started with a screwdriver, and had sketchy brakes, used rocks from the shoreline to chock the wheels on the wrecker, and finally hooked the tow guys helpers pick up to the front of the wrecker, after I laughed when they asked me to use my truck for the brake.  Also the one occasion when the wrecker pulled out a car and the guy said "that's not mine".
