Length times Girth times Width, subtract the photoshop average, multiply the Facebook value, Tweet it, copy it, fantisize about it.  It is still a carp that gets fat cause nobody fishes for it.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

More anglers fish for common carp in the USA than fish for Muskie, below are just some well know npeople that love carp fishing,

that fish is a good UK bloodline, bred for growth and appearance. The fish weighted 23 1/2 pounds, a nice fish but not a giant, I posted this to show people that like many fish, people typically think they are far bigger, and our waters are not full of fish over Twenty Pounds, we have one ozark water that is world class, and people do come here to JUST fish for common carp, perhaps I may share that one day soon

Unlike brussel sprouts, trying carp fishing once keeps people coming back for more

So my 17# guess wasn't way off, but Johnsfolly was closer at 26#.  I knew that guy wasn't THAT big.Really is hard to tell with nothing for perspective.

Both of you have a good eye, less likely to call a 2# smallmouth 4# as well......takes exceptional fish to be a lunkers, 2# crappie. 5# bass, 5# trout are kind of the tipping points, and when really nice fish get caught its an accomplishment

in our area a carp over 30# is a truly exceptional fish, a 40# a fish that will rairly get topped in ones lifetime

Really?  Rod and reel?  I am a truly exceptional carp fisherman!    Water pouring out of fields (big rain),  Just throw a crawler, hopper, mouse in the good spot and hang on.

Sure. Soon as I figure out how.  In the mean time I will troll the net for pictures of people I don't know with fish I will never see.

Try the Platte , Wea creek, west fork of the Grand in the mean time.     Brussel Sprouts Rock!

The Platte River, know that one, have some Kc people that fish that area, west fork of the grand? like in Oklahoma? have no idea where wea creek is....if these places truly hold monsters I know of some happy carpers

North of Kc on the Platte, 2 hours north on the west fork, 1 hour south on the creek.  The Wea  might be the best fishing hole that nobody fishes in 1.5 hour radius of KC.  Got it all.  Ness buys his apple juice near by.   Good luck with access.
