Never had a motor blow til now. 2010 200 proxs and threw a rod through the block..... makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about the cost to fix it. Oh well, its only money I guess. I think I can do considerably better than that but it will take a few days to find out for sure. The guy I need to talk to is piddling around out in the Florida keys right now. As always the most important thing is determining WHY a piston siezed and correcting that before moving that problem onto a fresh powerhead. Let me know if you want an estimate and I'll get one figured up. You're not alone, this year is starting out with blown Merc's right & left.
