Well I finally got bit. Never had a motor blow til now. 2010 200 proxs and threw a rod through the block.....

makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about the cost to fix it. Oh well, its only money I guess.

They don't call them Optipops for nothing! ^_^ Sorry to hear about that Derek. Hope you get her back to working order before spring arrives.

I always tried to tell my Dad that I wasn't WFO when his boat would throw a rod too. It sucks. Sorry.

MSRP is 4509.00 (plus tax and shipping) for the powerhead.   I think I can do considerably better than that but it will take a few days to find out for sure.  The guy I need to talk to is piddling around out in the Florida keys right now.  

As always the most important thing is determining WHY a piston siezed and correcting that before moving that problem onto a fresh powerhead.  IMG_20170414_141026.jpg
