Members BasserMan5000 Posted March 10, 2018 Members Posted March 10, 2018 Perhaps someone could help me: I am having difficulty finding any rules or information for boats and fishing at Lake Atalanta. Does anyone have that info or know where I could get it? Thanks in advance.
moguy1973 Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 Looks like it's a no wake lake: -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
MoCarp Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 I think thats one of those lakes you need a year permit to fish it, like 40 bucks or so, was several lakes like that in and around Rogers MONKEYS? what monkeys?
Members BasserMan5000 Posted March 10, 2018 Author Members Posted March 10, 2018 Does that include a regular state fishing lic. as well I wonder? I guess I will call the city and see. Thanks!!!
tjm Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 Rogers Parks and Recreation Department; 479-631-3350 Ask at the park bait shop/boat rental. I don't recall any special fishing regs, but think only park boats are allowed. I used to fish it from the bank with regular fishing permit, but rules get changed so better check with the parks office. MoCarp 1
Members BasserMan5000 Posted March 11, 2018 Author Members Posted March 11, 2018 Parks and rec website is expired...but I will call the city and find out what I need. I don't really care if I have a boat out there. I just want to see if I can catch fish. Thanks Dudes!!
Ketchup Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Cant believe the guys that live in that area havent given you an answer. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Quillback Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 I haven't fished it myself, and I don't know if it gets fished by many on here. I'm pretty sure it gets stocked with trout during the winter and catfish when it is warm. You'll definitely need an AR license to fish it, and a trout permit if you intend to keep trout. Any fees Rogers charges would be in addition to state permits. Ketchup 1
