Ketchup Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 We hear that often about Bass Pro. Theres a member here who works at the rigging location south of bass Pro. Hes a stand up guy that has done alot for me the past few years. Great to hear your back in a boat after that many years. Your in my neck of the woods. Im a stones throw from the Masters area. We sold our house in SW Springfield the first of Dec. and moved to this farm middle of Jan. Being so close to the ramp, my plan is to fish alot, especially evenings after work. If i see you out there i will chat with ya. Im in a red Xpress, the only one around here im pretty sure. Pulled by a Tan 4 door Ford Superduty incase you see it parked. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
MOPanfisher Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 My balance has been ruined by chemo so if I didn't lean against something I would be wet all the time. Before I switched to a butt seat I used to leave the regular seat down and turn it around backwards to lean against. I also disliked the seat up front blocking part of my view when driving.

The rig shop had been moved to the west side of town and by the time I got there, it was almost dark! I had lots of questions to ask and they just didn't have the time. They were closing! But, they seemed friendly and helped me get the lights working. (This year they all come with the round connector - I bought an adapter to plug into my new harness and had no idea that white wire needed grounded I'm closer to Crabtree and have only been to Masters once, but like that part of the lake better. I'll bump into you eventually. Keep a bumper handy.

Sure hate to hear that. Mine is off for no apparent reason. I used to climb radio towers for fun. Now a 7 foot step ladder gives me the willies - as does a rocking casting deck. I will eventually get wet. Just hope it waits for warmer water.
MOPanfisher Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I used to walk on everything, roofs, boats, downed trees nothing phased me, one round of chemo and the balance went to hell, Dr. Said yeah that often happens, not like there was a choice anyway. I try to be more careful/selective about what I tackle but sometime my pride writes check my body can't quite cash anymore. Hell I don't even jump out of the back of the truck anymore.

If you don’t already have an auto inflatable pfd, you might take a look. Could be a lifesaver
176champion Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 You might want to look at something like this that bolts onto you butt seat.. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
rps Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 I have seen boats on the White River below Bull Shoals with a brace for standing safely while flailing with their fly rods. You might want to find one or fabricate one. When it is time to replace the trolling motor, I heartily endorse the fob control models.

Could be a lifesaver EEK but this new adventure is costing money. But, probably should start keeping the wallet in a Ziploc bag at least. I lost a tan mult-pocket Bass pro vest between State park and the dam last month. Wouldn't have happened if I'd had the thing on. tho1mas 1
