fishinwrench Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 It might be easier to stand it up on the transom. Got a stump in your yard by chance?
jdmidwest Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 Big tree and a chainfall to winch it up on transom? Hard to tell without seeing all of boat. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
BilletHead Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 Perhaps you can use a pair of open slings spaced out fore and aft. Lift boat off of trailer with a pair of hoists. Roll boat over in slings so you can work the whole bottom at once. Like JD hard to tell without seeing the whole boat. Much easier to roll boat in slings than to actually lift to turn over, BilletHead mixermarkb 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" fishinwrench Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 What's the plan once it is turned upside down? Gonna grind it down and put a layer of cloth & resin over it, or what? Unless you're a Ford guy your truck has enough balls to flip it over.
grizwilson Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Tractor with a front in loader works great, not a big deal I have done a few. I really like this stuff on my trout boat cheaper and better than gel coat run it on my tin paddlejon also:: https://airboatcoatings.com/ “If a cluttered desk is a sign, of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”- Albert Einstein

My company truck is a Ford and its the biggest POS I have ever had to drive. Give me a Tundra or Silverado any day.
