We braved it from sun up to 3 pm, yesterday. It was windy, but the coves we were in shielded us enough to make it to the afternoon.

30+ bass with 10 keepers - largest closing in on 2.5-3lb. We were fishing 10' under on spawning banks, but the bucks didn't seem to be 100% committed yet and we weren't graphing anything deeper in these particular arms. Thirty seems like a lot, but we've had 70+ days this time of year. So, we either missed it or it hasn't happened yet.

All fish were caught on spinner baits, cranks (original/vintage wart produced the most), rage tail menace, shaky head and jig.

Surface temps were nearing 60 in the coves by the time we left.

I will be putting in at Cedar Ridge fighting the wind first thing tomorrow. :o

I will be somewhere out there too...maybe.

I fished a couple of hours this morning.  Bounced a secondary point that has always been good to me in the spring. The wife and i both limited there during this week on the two previos years. The walleye aren't there yet this year. Not even a bite. Boat control in the wind was a struggle but can be managed. But, I'm thinking I'll hunt mushrooms tomorrow.
