Grandson was out behind the house day before yesterday and caught a couple dozen them yeller ones.

I made a long walk this evening, as much to get out of house as anything.  I found 5 more pretty dry, poking their frost bitten heads up through the leaves.  Hopefully that will make my wife a small meal of them.

looked some tonight and no luck. thinking it's still too cold

how warm does it need to be?

Lotta factors, but generally the soil temp needs to be into the 50s and air temps into the 60s and up. It’s freakin 30 degrees here right now.
