5/1 Lake 35

Met up with Mike H on Tuesday to fish lake 35. We fished it from mid afternoon to near closing time. It was way too windy. I got 4 bass, but only 1 was of any decent size. Mike H was throwing flies for Musky and towards the evening saw one follow too, but it didn't commit.

Some lakes at Busch seem to always be windy and that's one of them. Add about 5-10 mph to whatever the weather forecast is and that's how it will be there, at least whenever I go.

Nice!  Details on the catch?

Real small for a musky.  Peeled out of the weeds and followed almost all the way in. Hooked it maybe ten feet off the boat on a yellow articulated Buford.  Basically no fight since it was so close.  Just a hook set then slid the net right under it.

 Still one more than I've ever caught, congrats.

Same as Jungle Jim 1.  I've heard the stories and know that they are in there, but still 1 more than I've ever caught!

I know im late to the party but HOLY CRAP! Thats awesome!! I had no clue they stocked them, the fact that they're really there is awesome. AND someone caught one!
