Waterfalls and Bigfoot

I've got this kid. 14 years old. Doesn't like to fish. Isn't a real big fan of floating. But she loves to hike. So yesterday the Wife and I take her to Lost Valley to hike to the falls. Fun little day trip but she was disappointed that she didn't get a shot of Bigfoot on her GoPro.

Lost valley is one of my favorite hikes, always do it a least once a year.

I have an 11 yr old that is the same way

If y'all would have sampled a few of those mushrooms you might have seen alot more than just Bigfoot.

Yeah but it was pretty full when we got there and another group of 8 coming up behind us. We looked around the opening and then left.

That's what we read. But there were just too many people there already. Probably head back this fall and will be better prepared.

This is the first time I heard of this place.  How long of a hike?  Also better prepared how?  May be going myself.
