Did anyone try a fluke or a weightless trick worm Bill? Just curious if they are still biting that.

Could not get a bite on it Friday.

They were biting it until they pulled the lake the last five days.  Had some on it yesterday but nothing big.  More lookers than anything.  Big Tiger caught a few along with wobble head.  Have been catching several good smalls they last 3  weeks on it up at Big M.  Good wind and they are biting spinner bait as well.

So, see any shad spawning yet?  Shouldn't be too much longer.

Saw some spawning right on the bank near Stubblefield Branch today. Warter temp was only 64.

Bill, thanks for the information. You are so right about the slime all over the water column. I hope the wind this weekend pushed it out of the way.

My last 3 trips from KC-kings river areas have prouduced all topwaters fish. Spook anything in white with a slow cadence has produced all day long.

For mother's day I took the family and pontoon to dam area.  I had to bring fishin stuff.... it's my M.O.

Fishing out of a 28ft tritoon in the wind is like pushing a chain!.... frustrating.

But did manage 6 spots on a fluke up against the bank.  3 keepers.
