Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 16, 2018 Root Admin Posted July 16, 2018 My friend Jim Johnson is in need of a marine mechanic for a few months this summer/fall. He runs Evinrude E-Tec jets on the river. They're ran hard, lots of hours and the river is hard on them. He needs someone "yesterday" and his season ends the last of September, although he may not keep this person past mid September. Of course, there are some nice "perks" involved in this job, namely some incredible fishing opportunities and... just being in Alaska. If you're interested, send me a private message and I'll get you in contact with Jim.
jdmidwest Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 Wrench needs to pack his bags and air guns. He could retire the rest of the season. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

Too bad it can't be a Winter gig. Out of curiosity what is Mr.Johnson prepared to pay? Always have offers to do Winters in FL, LA, or TX for some pretty good 💰 but it isn't enough to pull me away from my family and my big yeller dawg 😢 tho1mas 1

Ham Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 Heck of any opportunity for the right person. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
fishinwrench Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 Honestly I think his best bet would be to put the word out on this forum. http://www.marineengine.com/boat-forum/forumdisplay.php?966-Outboard-Motors-Forum And on the Evinrude, Mercury, and Yamaha tech Facebook groups. Some very dedicated guys on there.
