I fish a lot mice patterns and have a lot of success with them. You just got to keep throwing them don’t give up or it will never happen. It’s all about quality over quantity and last Saturday night I had 10 browns over 20” floating  from the state park to Gaston’s on the White. IMO I would rather catch a couple big ones than 100 stockers.

Btw love the mouse story that’s some funny💩

Congrats on your White river browns! That's an impressive total of quality fish on a pretty heavily fished section of river! I tend to throw jerkbaits for browns, but have considered a mouse if I could fish at night. Had a trip fall through this last spring where I was planning to fish some traditional big fish holes at night.

I hope to see some more of your big browns. Keep posting.

I think I I'll be adding some mouse patterns to my late night activities.  Nice fish, and thanks for sharing.

Let's see the list of favorite mouse patterns.  The Morish Mouse (with the foam across the back) is the only one I've ever tried to use.

Never caught anything on it.

I'm assuming that you are tying these yourself. Are they commercially available for those of us that are not tiers?

Yes they are available the leming can be bought from “the fly shop” and Choen can be bought direct from Pat. They look complicated to tie but are easy to tie.

Hope this helps.
