Rodmaker Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 I was reading the Saturday morning fishing report in the local paper and they have a report for the James River arm and the James River. What would be considered the " boundary line" between the two. I recently retired to the lake and am looking forward to spending time trying to figure this old girl out. I live on point 10. (aunts creek). Thanks. magicwormman 1
Members Wart 57 Posted August 23, 2018 Members Posted August 23, 2018 I would think Galena and above would be the river part but I don't know for sure. Enjoy the area and good luck fishing ! dan hufferd 1
dblades Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 I use the ramp at Walnut Spring as my personal dividing line between the two.
cheesemaster Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 I am not 100% sure but I think the Lake rules take affect at the railroad bridge in Galena. dan hufferd 1

tjm Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 I don't know the area, but logic says find the normal pool elevation and look at a map where that elevation crosses the river, you would have to be close.
Flysmallie Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Lake regulations begin at the Y bridge in Galena. dan hufferd 1

Flysmallie Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 There is a railroad bridge just down from it. But the Y was a car bridge. Pretty cool thing to see. cheesemaster 1

She can be sweet and giving or just plain tough as nails. I live pretty close and am willing to share what little knowledge that I have
