WGonna hit the creek early Monday. First time I've been down in quite a while.  Tied some new jig style buggers to try. And some small streamers . Going to hit the lower section this time and walk as far as I can

Good luck! I hope that you find some pickerel as well.

It's been quite some time for me considering the frequency with which I usually fish it. The water has been low this year and i havent had as much time. However today the water was perfect!  Buggers flat for it done this morning at first light.  They were hitting it on top of the water stripped fast stripped slow didn't matter. Managed twelve at lower access with one skinny eighteen incher!

Can I ask, when stripping buggers there, what size tippet do you use?

Looks like a post spawn fish. Congrats on a great trip! A lot better than my trip there in Dec.

I think that you should. If nothing more than the challenge of that tight space fishing. However I know that you don't like fishing those naturalized rainbows 😜.
