Members Gilbert Posted January 9, 2019 Members Posted January 9, 2019 Hey guys, I'm going to Lake of the Ozarks at the end of march. I'll be staying in the village of four seasons and was curious if anyone knew what the fishing was like around there. I want to target catfish, possibly crappie, and definitely some white bass. Any other species would be great. Any tips as far as locations, things to look for structure-wise? Basically, I just don't want to get skunked lol. I've fished the State Park a few times and done pretty well, but I've never been to this part. It's pretty close to Bagnell Dam and I considered doing some paddlefish snagging there as well. Any tips, advice would be greatly appreciated!
fshndoug Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 pretty hard to target multiple species.they require different fishing lures or equipment.you will do a lot better if you pick one and roll with it.you really need to know the area to do otherwise or be one heck of a fisherman
fishinwrench Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 Since you're close to the dam and want to catch some Whites, just hop over the dam and fish the tailwater. The white bass fishing there should be great during March.
