Going to scoop the 3 plus inches of snow we got last night and this morning. Watch the Chiefs game. Hope to be back in a week or so.

Good Luck Champ, and yes they are running again this morning 1-12-19.  By 8:30 only 2 boats had came by but man it is cold and nasty.  Of course this is Saturday and the duck hunters are out.  Have heard at least 4 volleys of shots.

We are going to Noodle 21 for lunch and then settle in for the  "CHIEFS."

Happy Chiefs day everyone.

Did it snow there, Bill?

We only made it as far as Beaver. Fished noon to 5 pm. Wasted too much time trying to force feed them a jerk bait, then backed out and caught four in the last 1:30 on a Ned from 15-25 feet. Should've been doing that all day but I'm admittedly bullheaded. Cold and cloudy, spit some snow on us on the way home. WT 46-47 in the Indian Creek/dam area.

No snow, no sleet and no Ice. 3.55 inches of rain.

James, I had that one good day on the jerker, but durn that Ned rig is just outperforming  about everything the past couple of weeks.  That is of course if you don't want to throw the A.   We of course will not go there.:D

The same fish that are biting the Ned are seeing the jerkbait in these clear water locations, mostly 45 degree transitions with chunk and a bit of gravel.   They are just not moving up on the jerkbait and are just very gently picking up the Ned.  Most bites for us were just a very slight tick to just being a bit heavy.

Same Ned bite at Beaver... very soft, mostly just a notion that something fishy is going on. 😀
