12 more states are considering common carp regulations like in Connecticut, just so you know😘

also prob new protections on alligator gar in Texas as well

I bet this is how the punt gunners and market hunters got pretty salty back in the day once they knew the gig was up

now as far as CWD... prob get worse before things get better sadly

I don’t think I’ll get caught over my limit😆

I could harpoon a bunch of carp and gar every year.  Might buy a bow in case the catching is slow.  Add a little excitement to the trip.

I have zero issues with stricter regs on alligator gar, native to that area, population shrinking etc.  Carp do not appear to be very endangered, I don't have an issue with some regulation on them but it was a nice strawman argument to compare the days of slaughtering waterfowl to carp.
