oneshot Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 I found a place below the Park that should be good Sucker fishing but I'm thinking go above the Park. What do you guys think? Oh the river is going down but normal Spring weather it is supposed to rain next couple days. oneshot
tjm Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Do you see fish above the park? I always enjoy it more if I fish where there are fish.

I’ve just fished for Goggle Eye up there and plenty Gig up there. I have caught them from the Park on down but Trout give me fits and I don’t care for Trash Fish. oneshot BilletHead 1
fishinwrench Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 The best Sucker area I know of is the long slow 3-5' deep stretch just below HoHumm. Every time I have floated through there I see plenty of bigger than average Suckers. From the old bridge pilings down to the next riffle (about 150-200 yards).
oneshot Posted March 29, 2019 Author Posted March 29, 2019 I was thinking Williams Ford but never fished there. I have done good at Lead Mine. oneshot

I've seen them lay in the hole right there in front of the campground too. Not really a hole more like a runout chute of moderately slow water. It was always winter time when I was there..
