top_dollar Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Floated 8 to leadwood yesterday. River was not too high but it was really flying. Typically that's an 8 or 10 hour float for me...this time was less than 5. I was not able to fish effectively and only caught 4 small bass 2 on a keitech and 2 on a worm. Man that was humbling. snagged in outlet 3, Daryk Campbell Sr, Haris122 and 2 others 5

top_dollar Posted May 30, 2019 Author Posted May 30, 2019 Its not the best. If you tighten the straps across the middle of the back as tight as you can get them it helps tremendously. I will probably end up adding some padding for a multi day float. Cool boat though. Hopefully they will make an upgrade for the seat.

I just put a boat seat pad on the back and it was not an issue but, my wife was the first to paddle it and starting bitching right away and I had to do a few mods hahahahaha Daryk Campbell Sr and top_dollar 2
top_dollar Posted May 31, 2019 Author Posted May 31, 2019 Yeah I'm pretty uncoordinated and I found it very easy to maneuver. I was even comfortable enough to try standing up and it was pretty easy. Fishing out of it is a breeze. I had all my rods played out nicely in front of me, tackle and tools were easily accessible without any crazy contortions. It was fairly light as well. I was easily able to load and unload off the top of my outback. I'm really glad I bought it! Daryk Campbell Sr 1

top_dollar Posted July 23, 2019 Author Posted July 23, 2019 Been out between 8 and leadwood the last few weeks. Same old same old. 3-5 foot of visibility. Nice and cool compared to any of the lakes around. Smallmouth, LM, crappie, longears, and various other sunfish species been biting well. Eating topwater baits, jerkbaits, plastic worms, and swimbaits. Mostly in and around riffles. Caught 1 LM out of a long slow pool on a worm that was about 16 inches long, everything else has been significantly smaller. Have yet to catch any decent smallmouth this year. That stretch never has very big fish, but typically i can find a few over 15 inches, this year its just been a ton of 8-12 inch fish. Wading/floating a cool creek is about the only kinda fishing i really enjoy when the temp gets so hot! snagged in outlet 3, timinmo and Greasy B 3
