Haha, you know I love ya brother, now smile and know that our fishing bond will never be broken lol.

I couldn't imagine a better day if you and I could get trythisonemv to be our crane creek guide for a day. I'd likely have to work hard to keep you trout hunting vs chasing those micros!  We could bring the girls too so they could put us both to shame.

Livie would hate fishing there. I did take her one time and she got very frustrated about the skittish fish. I have caught quite a few creek chub on past visits and have seen a few striped shiner. Usually trying for those McClouds and not focused on micros. Now if we see a grass pickerel then it's game on :D. May have to fight off @trythisonemv since I know that he is eager to catch a pickerel.

Umm this guy right here would love to accommodate a weird schedule lol.

Sometimes it's easier to go during the week, just have to move stuff around at work.  I'd love to hit that creek sometime as I've never been there. That is a beast of a rainbow!

Although @Johnsfolly is better looking, I smile a whole lot more!  :)

Ill try look ahead and set upa tome to go. . . Would be interesting to have someone witness me tripping on slimy rocks

Probably my biggest reason to fish alone . Typically just wading along and then every so often the feet just aren't doing what they need to do :o.

Better watch out buddy. A trip down there and catching those hard fighting stream bred fish may have you driving hours to Barren Fork Creek, Blue Springs creek, etc. instead of Taney :o!

Well the rain held off today and boy was it a fantastic day. I caught more fish than I can remember or count and one about 3-pound 18in. Early on the bugger bite was spectacular and then as the afternoon progressed the double scud rig drop shot style was the key.

A really nice rainbow! Would you be willing to elaborate on your double scud rig? I am envisioning a three fly rig with the anchor fly replaced with a piece of shot. Am I on the right track? Is the anchor in the middle or bottom of the rig? Thanks!

You pictured correctly,  and the shot os on the bottom of the Rig. Tied to eye of the scud about four inches between them and aboutsix in to dropper tag with smaller scud above that
