netboy Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 Caught this fatty at Roundhouse Shoals this morning swinging a soft hackle. She put up a good fight and gave me several jumps completely out of the water. I caught some on dry flies early (parachute Adams and elk hair caddis) and then around a dozen or so on the soft hackle later in the morning. Ham, Quillback, Daryk Campbell Sr and 6 others 9
JestersHK Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 My goodness that fish is stacked! Sounds like a great time!

I could barely get my hand around it. Cool thing was that it hit late morning with the sun up and I saw it come up and take the fly. Ham and Daryk Campbell Sr 2
JestersHK Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 That's awesome. What's up with it's tail! Looks off, or out of proportion to it's body
JestersHK Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 This one was built very similar but not as big from last year... Same thing couldn't get a handle on her. They are great fighters though generally when they are built like tanks Ham 1
