I have been monitoring the lake level and it is coming down at a good clip.  It has dropped over a foot and a half in the last week.  If the COE boys keep this up it may reach pool by mid September.  Though I would really like to see it stop 3 or 4 feet high.

Before this all started, they had stated a plan to keep it at least a foot higher than 867 in the future.  I scoffed at that!  Where they gonna get the water, I recall wondering at the time.  😀

It’s been dropping about .40 per day...dropped 3 ft the past 7 days.  If the pace continues it will be down to normal pool in 25 days....with any rain it may take longer.  I will be happy when it is closer to 5 ft high...anything from then on will be golden!!!

Made it down there today.  Be better if it was open a foot or so!  About as much coming through the turbine.  Smelled horrible down there.  Not sure why.

Nasty thermocline water, probably.

Has to be.  It was coming off the water for sure.   If I were a fish, I'd be on the other side of that stuff.

Well they have dropped it 2 1/2’ in the last week.  It is only 7’ high now.  If they keep this up then it will get to power pool real soon.

The green fish should be getting out of the brush as it drops.

I don't know if I am.

Trolled around some on Friday, got hung up more times in one afternoon than I have all year. Where'd all the dang water go?
