Had an overcast day today so catching was good.  Ended up with big pike and big walleye of the day with a 33.5" pike and a 20.5" walleye.

On our way back and stopped in Minneapolis. Didn’t get to fish on the last day because I came down with a bout of pneumonia. Had to drive to a small town an hour away to get some antibiotics for it. Wednesday I did end up getting another decent one at 34.5”. My brother in law caught a monster 41” on Tuesday late in the day.

I would like to take my boat back up there next time as the small Lund’s they have with 20hp motors aren’t the fastest but I don’t want to tear up my bottom end. They use Rock Hopper type motor guards to protect their motors from rocks.  The lake we were at would be 20ft deep and all of a sudden there would be a stray rock pile in front of you that would just be under the water that you couldn’t see at full bore and it wouldn’t be pretty if you hit it without that guard.
