Had to drive my wife to the airport this morning, she's going to NYC for work.  On the water at 11 and off at 3.  HOT!!  Had a 14 incher slam a square bill on the second cast and I caught them steadily until I left.  I alternated  a square, bill, spinner and whacky worm.  Had a real nice one on for several minutes on the SB but it was barely hooked and it shook it loose at the boat.  Maybe 20 inches, but from the ones I've measured the past two years probably 19😁.  Most of them came on the WW after I dialed in the color.  Nothing over 14 inches but I caught a bunch.  Some played catch which was cool.  Second pic just for @Flysmallie😁

Lots of boat traffic and watched a guy tear his transom loose on a shoal.  He beached it quickly but it was taking on a lot of water.  Several of his buddies stopped to help but they weren't stemming the flow.  After I offered it several times and him turning it down he finally took some of that water proof gorilla tape and a piece of pool floaty I keep in the boat.  Actually his wife said they would take it.😂  They got it patched up and back to the ramp.  I hope somebody helps me when I need it.

Nice day really for getting out late.

Please explain the gorilla tape and pool floaty.  Seems self explanatory, but I like life hacks.  I do hope someone is there to help when you are in need.

The water proof gorilla tape sticks under water.  And I mean sticks!!!  You can hardly get it off of something once you put it on.  It's a thick rubberized tape.  Use the pool floaty to shove in the hole and then tape it up.  It completely sealed off his leak which was about 4" wide and over a foot long.  If you have a jet boat I highly recommend having this in it.

Sounds like a great trip Pete.

I've used some of that flex tape patching poly pipe I irrigate with. Works pretty good

There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
