Anyone see this coming?  And it's still raining.

Those of us below dams are hoping we don't see heavy generation seeing the water quality we'll get won't be conducive to... fish.  Fortunately there's lots of room in the lakes, at least right now.

Wonder how far Beaver will rise?

Table Rock?

Raining hard right now at my house, very little wind so these clouds don't move much and are dumping water.

There was a break in the rain about 9 AM,  so I took the dog for a walk - I thought the rain was about over then, but I was wrong.

Looks like Beaver is already up about 8 inches.

1/4 mile from Little Sugar and downstream from Quillback   my gauge showed ~3.8" but ditches show ~95% of it ran off, ground here was still wet from last week. I have two normally dry ditches that were carrying as much water each  at noon as Sugar Creek had before the last rain. Two weeks ago the discharge was ~80cfs and the most recent is 14200cfs for  just Little Sugar. Gauge hieght is up about  14' from yesterday at 17.66'. This all goes into Lake o' the Cherokees though.

We were in Rogers Saturday night/Sunday AM, drove 49/71 home to SGF Sunday late morning.  There was water everywhere until we got to Missouri.  Elk River was still running clear when we drove over it.  So was Indian and further north, Shoal Creek.  The spring branch by our house that only runs in wet weather is still dry.  Even after 2.5" in the gauge.
