I think they would be great. I use a BIG stiff bag with good backpack straps. I think I got it at Rogers years ago. I can hold as many as I would want to carry at one time. Tangles have never really been an issue for me either.
Gavin Posted November 2, 2019 Author Posted November 2, 2019 The boys are jazzed for Shanks on Sunday. Pilot friend says it’s real. Say the are hunting 24 spots, poor line for 12 but doubtful no show reservations with these numbers. Daylight savings might free a few spots. Good luck gentlemen! Be safe, and be kind to others! nomolites, BilletHead, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 4
snagged in outlet 3 Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Take some pictures, @Gavin and good luck.
Boobie Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Buddy got picked for Fountain Grove wed. pill 3. It looks like im as excited as you are. Have not hunted there in 20 yrs.Good luck.....
Gavin Posted November 3, 2019 Author Posted November 3, 2019 Didn’t kill much but learned what not to do and a bit about the area. The guys I went with knew little about the area so we set up in the wrong spot in the dark (too eager), to close to the trucks, and didn’t pick up and move. Darn those pools are huge! Will bring a canoe or the jon next time. Would make things allot easier. We all had fun though. Lessons learned! snagged in outlet 3, Daryk Campbell Sr, nomolites and 1 other 4

Gavin Posted November 4, 2019 Author Posted November 4, 2019 We killed three ducks but only recovered two. We just didn't know the territory and we needed a better way to haul our stuff in...Sleds alone were not the way to go. Daryk Campbell Sr, BilletHead and snagged in outlet 3 3
nomolites Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 We used to bring a blinded 18’ jon, no motor(unless we could not get in wade in) and fill it with all the decoys and gear(after unloading from trailer)and walk it out, set up, and then hunt from the blind. Worked very well. Mike snagged in outlet 3, Gavin and Daryk Campbell Sr 3
