netboy Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I launched the boat at Wildcat ramp this morning in a thick fog and ran up to a nice shoal area and then got out and waded. There were some BWO's hatching when I got there and I caught 4 rainbows and a small brown on a size 20 BWO. Once the sun burned the fog off the hatch stopped. I switched back to the egg/midge combo and had some pretty good action. Caught quite a few rainbows, a decent brown and 1 cutthroat. Here's a couple of the better rainbows. They were colored up for the spawn and dropping milt when I removed the hook. BilletHead, nomolites, JestersHK and 2 others 5
JestersHK Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Love those spawn colors. Be there in a few weeks and I can't wait!

Members cmoore03 Posted November 19, 2019 Members Posted November 19, 2019 My largest Rainbow was caught below Tucker Shoals and one of my favorite places to fish. 45 years ago one could see pods of 8-10# Browns (and larger) holed up at Tucker, days gone by. Glad you had a great day, nothing better that dry fly action. snagged in outlet 3 and netboy 2
