Ham Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Well Bob, Its good to have options. Growing up when the Mississippi River was up most of our fishing was shut down. Nowadays, we have so much information at our fingertips and social networks to lean on to learn about other fishing opportunities. There were other places and other fish we could have pursued, but we just didn’t know where, when, and how. I hope the Spring River treats you right. I just called the dam line and it says Norfork is shut down. Man, they have been doing this stuff for years. 5 foot rise of water and no mention of it.

The generators are shut down (may be for maintenance) and they are running water thru the siphon and 3 flood gates @ 1 foot for about 1700cfs plus the siphon. BTW Spring river was pretty good today. Water was a bit off color but lots of trout. The old Spring river pink miracle fly worked great. snagged in outlet 3 1
