Got a 12 foot Jon Boat, not Registerd so need to get that taken care of. Probably has a few leaks need to fix them. Then I’m going to get a Trolling Motor for it.

I’m thinking of using it on the Creeks and Lake Coves. My wife and son are saying NO!!!

Get this all taken care of before Spring Fishing.

With that 12' Jon Boat you will need a hand held urinal with your bladder issues. If you stand up you may very well get your pants soaked instead of just the crouch area as they are far from stable.

With all this talk of little Jon boats lately, why doesn't anyone consider PVC toons like the Pond Prowler ?

Those things are the cats posterior for everything that a small Jon boat is designed for.  I had a 2-man Bass Tracker Bantam when I was 16-18 and me and my buddy put some serious miles (river and strip pit) on that sucker.  And then sold it for only 100.00 less than I paid for it new.   What a bargain!   Slides right in the back of a truck and is stable enough for 2 guys to stand up and fish.   Hell, just thinking about it makes me want another one.

I've been looking at these, but I was curious how feasible they are for use on creeks and rivers, obviously with a trolling motor and what not for propulsion through pools.

They do great.   Strap a10ft. Push pole to the side, as they are easier to pole than they are to paddle.   I had a little 3hp outboard for mine....but I never used it.  They zip right along with a trolling motor.

I’m on my second one.   I sold the first one when I built this house and had to rent for a while.  Sold it for more than I paid because oil had gone up and the price followed it up.  I’ve caught thousands of fish out of them.
Don’t get a trolling motor that draws too much amperage than the wiring in one.  Trust me😁

I just saw this one...not sure how wide it is...but looks like good project boat.  spruce the trailer up...put a deck on the front...and find an old Johnson or Evinrude.

Dang, if that wasn't a short 15" transom I'd pounce on that first thing tomorrow morning.

What's the amperage rating for the pre-installed wiring?

Pay particular attention to Note #3....All bets are off if your battery is near dead.   This is why I crow about operating with a half-assed battery, or a battery that is on its last leg, all the time.
