Maybe I am missing something, I thought you were saying that a 2 foot deep relase at 659 was the same as a 1 foot deep release at 660, I misunderstood.  Again I am not sure how bagnells gates operate, if they are tainter type  gates and open at the bottom then my info is correct, if not I am not sure without knowing how they work.

Actually I think you are right about that, the gates are RAISED not lowered.   I had a fart in my brain.  😅

Man I am glad that never happens to me!!  Sometimes I have a brain normal, fart is more the norm for me.

Thanks to both of you for hashing this out. As some dont care it does affect the area business. I am always amazed at how all coditions downstream today at LOZ looking at Herman guage is fine so they shut the water off at LOZ And shut the flow down at Truman but Pomme has continued to release the same for almost a week.

Lake levels are always a hot topic for me during this time of year.  I actually want it to rain so godaweful much that they can't keep this lake down.  I love fishing during the spawn and for the last 10 years they have always screwed it up with extreme lake level fluctuations during those times.

After retirement I'd love to move to a natural lake where some douchebags with a "guide curve" can't jack up mother nature.

Since wrench knows everything, maybe he can go change regulations set forth by Congress, fix these water level issues and then clean out all of lifetime politicians for us. I would definitely support that. Please start with the HOR when you get to the hill. 😄

Oh boy, here we go...🙄

Question the operating procedure of a government entity and all of a sudden you're a jackass pot stirring know-it-all.

I have had zero training in managing flood control thru hydro electric dams, but I am 100% confident that I could do a better job of it.

Hell the last generation of ACOE and GE higher-ups handled it just fine, even through the floods of '93-'95, and never to my memory had everyone perplexed about what in the holy f*** they were doing.

I guess the question to ask is.....What factor is involved now that makes us "dumbasses" have concerns about the retardedness level of the ones in charge these days?     Surely there is something that us regular people just don't know.....and why does that something have to be a secret?

I motorboated over Highway 71 in the Horton bottoms in 1993.  Trees were full of ants, spiders and every other kind of crawly thing that could get up there.  Barns with parts still above water were the same way.  Most water this hillbilly has ever seen.

This will likely be my last post ever on this site.

Wrench, you and a few other people on this site really ruin the whole experience for everyone.

You know your stuff when it comes to fishing and working on motors, but your hateful dialogue makes wanting to post unappetizing.

This site is supposed to be a brother/sisterhood of like-minded people ... I will step away.

I'm not a regular, but I have been a member for many years and have tried my best to help people when I can.

It really seems that there is a small group of longtime members that don't believe in treating others with respect.

That being said, GOOD BYE EVERYONE.

Hope you all have a great year/decade!

PS - dog pile all you want, I won't be checking.
