Where is a good place around stockton lake to get minnows and do they have any size to them. Every time I try to buy any (around clinton) they r so small I can't believe people can get them on a hook.

I'm not sure the size you are looking for but, Bait Master's at 215/123 has always give me a very generous count on the minnows...  dozen = 15-20...

I stop in Greenfield at "crossroads" just because it's on my way. They (normally) have 2 sizes. I believe the price is fair but only thing I dont like is usually  they count the darn things out which drives my crazy. I'm used to asking for a dozen and getting a scoop. But it's the only place I know of on MY way to the lake.

Everything I use or can think of is on the south side of the lake.  I use Bait Masters mostly  and am happy with Crossroads. There is one between Bona and Mutton Creek. Not a big fan of. But size always seems to vary.

Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???B)

Glad to hear   I'm not the only one that hates those little dinky minnows. I think Greenfield has the best size, But you guys are right they literally count them out. I'm always gotten pretty decent minnows from Lakys On the East Side of the Lake.

I haven't been down in a while to verify, but I believe Stone Creek Lodge will have minnows. They are on the west side of the mile long bridge on 215. God launches near there at Hartley and State Park. Can inquire at 417-276-1700. Go get 'em!
