Krazo Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 im itching to come fish LOZ but this is what keeps me away. what fricking show I bet all the public ramps are.
fishinwrench Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Yeah I've been wanting to get out there, but the insanity at the ramps and the number of boats on every bank I want to fish is too much for me. It just ain't worth it.
slothman Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 And the water is too low to use any of the private ramps I’d normally try to use.
FishermanTodd Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Herd there was a 1 hour wait time to launch at CC on Stockton yesterday. Also herd it was a sight to see them to try get boats back on the trailer when the 40mph wind gusts moved in around 6:30pm.

Need a lake level of at least 657.5 to launch/load a bass boat there. Thanks Wrench, it is shallow. I've launched my tunnel hull flat bottom Alweld there at 57 and under several times. I was not thinking about mud bar in front of the ramp. I bet it has kept the bigger boats out. Last year around Turkey season it was just packed with both crappie fishermen and snaggers. Low water might stop em. I think it was 58 last year. Not a lot of ramps on that Climax side if you want to fish around the 58 to 62 mile mark. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Blazerman Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Did not see near as many boats this weekend. Cooler weather had the bigger boats staying away and even saw a lot less fishing boats. But the weather did not seem to bother the fish. Seems like the crappie have moved in to spawn. Yesterday evening just before dark I had a nice limit in under two hours standing on the back corner of a dock and making the same cast over and over. i was throwing parallel to the bank and getting hit about 3-4 away from the bank every cast. And that was after bass fishing for a few hours in the morning. Bass are turning on too. conorsixtakc, liphunter, nomolites and 1 other 4

Bill Babler Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 It’s Fixin to get Lively up there. Congrats. That’s how I hope to spend next week with the exception of perhaps a feathered friend early Monday morning http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
