Was just getting ready to head to Taney to see what was going on about 7:30 and the sky just opened up.  Looked at radar and there was a small green blurb over us that was no bigger than a speck.  it just came down like water out of a bucket for at least 20 to 30 minutes.  Suns out now.  It seemed to rain here last night  from 11 pm till about 2 then stopped and then this small cloud burst.  I think small short rains are happening a lot of places and it is just more filling the cereal bowl.

Still headed to Taney maybe later this morning.

Read last night that the corp was planning on opening gates on all 3 lakes today to release the rainfall from last night only.  I'm sure you already knew that, but just a heads up if you're headed to Taney.

It's been drizzly here all morning, supposed to clear out, except for a chance of a storm at any time.  I might do a little afternoon fishing on one of the Bella Vista lakes, hopefully there are still a couple left that didn't get stuck over the weekend.

Drove by the dam today about noon time - NO gates open.

I see that Taney went to 711 at the dam - that's probably 4 generators and no gates.
