Dave Nice goldfish and bullhead! Are you sight fishing the bullhead or just getting hit as you strip it back?

On rare occasions I've been able to see them and cast to them.  Most of the time I can't see them, and am just fishing along the edge of a rocky drop-off along the shore, moving the microjig (suspended under an indicator) very slowly along, with some pauses.  When they want it, they hit it pretty good.

Thats a pig! Girth must be 1.5 times its length. With their coloration you should be able to id individuals.. Have you caught all of them from that pond?

Ha!  We certainly think alike!

I've been able to ID individual bass that I caught more than once.  Yes, doing that should be pretty easy with these Goldfish.  There are tow ponds right next to each other...one flows into the other when the water level gets high enough.  Both have these big Goldfish, and I've caught them from both ponds.  So far, I don't believe I've caught any of them twice, and based on ones I see porpoising (I've noticed these Goldfish don't usually jump UP like a Common Carp will, but they will porpoise quickly across the surface), there must be a LOT of them I haven't caught yet.  I've only caught 18 of them from these ponds so far.  This might be the last one, since we need to pack up again and get ready to make the drive/move to StL on Monday.

Yes, these fish certainly are healthy!
