abkeenan Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 In-Laws are coming down and staying in Stonebridge/Ledgestone which isn't far from State Park area. Wanted to pick them up in the pontoon coming from across the lake in Beardsley. Is there anywhere around there to park/use a dock so I can load them up? Not sure with the lake level what docks may be available or where they might park their vehicle while we play on the 'toon for the day. Was thinking Moonshine ramp might work. State Park Parking lot might be flooded?
fozzype Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 Both ramps are open and have parking. State park has parking up the hill from the ramp with a grassy bank you can pull up to. Also, parking west of the ramp at the state park..the trail is easy to pull up on just west of the lot. magicwormman and abkeenan 2 B. Foz
bobby b. Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 The Handicap access dock at Moonshine is doable but feet may get a little wet - State Park is the better deal. Bobby abkeenan 1
abkeenan Posted June 2, 2020 Author Posted June 2, 2020 Thanks guys! High water sure is a pain in the butt for just about everything lake related. Except for Quill who is probably currently running his picnic table pattern and loving it. magicwormman 1

Nope, high water has chased me away and forced me to fish Beaver, aka, the 'Dead Sea'. 😀 bobby b., magicwormman and abkeenan 2 1
Members Patlock Posted June 3, 2020 Members Posted June 3, 2020 Moonshine parking lot Sunday when they opened the gates, level was at 931. m&m, Quillback, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 3 1
abkeenan Posted June 8, 2020 Author Posted June 8, 2020 I checked out Moonshine and people are able to launch there off the parking lot. Also had plenty of parking when I was there on Friday. The courtesy dock ramp is flooded and you have to wade out to the walkway on it. Saw one guy do it launching some jetskis and it got up to his chest before he got to the dock platform. I ended up just picking them up at State Park. Visitors are parking in the grass right at the entrance and then being shuttled down in a golf cart to the marina. It all worked out. magicwormman, m&m and bobby b. 3
