Drove up to Bull Shoals dam to check out the flows. They are running 6 generators and then another 12k cfs over the spill gates for a total of 26.5k cfs.

I think it was at 26K in October and it was surprisingly ok....  Maybe @Ham recalls the flow but I think that's what it was.

They just bumped it up to almost 28k.

What was that like and where were you?   I was at buffalo, cotter and the dam at 26k no problems.

We fished 24-25k a bunch earlier this year. I liked it! Numbers were down, but caught some pigs! Just pay attention to your surroundings.

@Ham does remember those flows. I think I fished in 27K and Waldo made for very comfortable fishing. BUT You better darn well pay attention AND you better not have motor trouble. The White River always has some hazards, but the Hazard level is much higher right now. 
I most likely will not fish at > 25 K this time around.
