We eat only about 4 to 6 eggs a week for the three of us. If they weren't more like pets, a couple would be stock 🤔. Terrierman 1
oneshot Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 She says she is going to get about 25 Chicks to raise up for eating. oneshot
oneshot Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Our Son has the Hens until we have the Shed fixed up. He has them in a cage and was wanting to put them in with his Ducks but was afraid they would fly. My wife told him to just clip their wings. He don’t know how to so now she is over there clipping their wings. oneshot
oneshot Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Got it open up so air can get in and cleaned it out. Now need to divide it off and put pen up. oneshot
oneshot Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 Did some measuring my wife changed my mind on doing some things saying why are you doing that? You make sense dear, you are right! She is good help. oneshot
oneshot Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 In the Egg business. I think they are older hens but hey. Don’t have outside pen built but their in the dry. My wife did bunch of the work. It is just too hot. oneshot
oneshot 1 Posted July 5, 2020 Author Posted July 5, 2020 I talked my wife into Hatching some Chickens. Like I told her few Hens and a Rooster might as well make the best of it. Like I told her everyone is jumping on Chickens and Small Animals. They don't realize how much work is involved. oneshot
oneshot 1 Posted July 10, 2020 Author Posted July 10, 2020 We decided mainly Chickens and Rabbits for meat. Goats are just too High Dollar to justify butchering them. My wife just put 40 eggs in the Incubator. oneshot
