Weekend Launch?

My wife and Son are upset with me because I don't want to put the Boat in on Saturday. I've always found it just too crowded at the Ramps. I always think why if I don't have to?

Does anyone else understand?

Depends on which ramp and where.   

The access here by me was seldom crowded until COVID hit.   It's been so crowded this year that I hesitate to pull a boat down there before I run down to check the crowd first.

go splash that bad boy in...it can handle the waves

those wakeboats won’t be out in the timber...pick a ramp with some standing timber around it...and have at it

Yeah, Covid has really put a damper on fishing this year. Even during the middle of the week ramps are busy like a weekend. On good 4 lane ramps it's not usually a big deal, on the smaller ones it can be aggravating.

I am lucky in that I have a job where I can take off a little early and fish the afternoons during the week. Haven't been out on a weekend in months.

Kinda makes me miss last year when the water was up in the trees. There were several days that I was the only guy at the ramp.

Basically I off every day. Right now work half hour at my choosing. So I can go anytime.
