Gavin Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 How is the seat on the Bite? Looks Jackson comfy.
MarkG52 Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 I've got a Jackson Mayfly. Super stable with plenty of dry storage and an open deck. They are pretty pricey though. I had a Wilderness Ride 115X I traded in. It's also a tad on the heavy side for loading/unloading and dragging to the water. That's where the C-Tug comes in handy!

They have some accessories that are supposed to help, i may buy them. If you keep the straps good and tight, it is fine, but if the straps get loose, the bar will dig into your lower back.
TroutRinger Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Coosa HD and Predator MX are designed for rivers. They both carry a lot of gear, are maneuverable, and have decent speed for their size. The MX is cheaper but doesn’t have as many bells and whistles. Coosa HD is better for camping with the larger hatch and removable chair. In normal years, kayaks start going on sale in September. I got my Coosa HD for 25% off with a bit of negotiation. "Of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy." "There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot."
Members RichJsn Posted January 26, 2021 Members Posted January 26, 2021 I have been looking myself. Guess, you have to answer if you want a sit in or a sit on top. I went back and forth. For me the sit in is the answer. I picked up a Tarpon 120. It was recently remolded. I also picked up a Malone Channel Loader to help me put it on my Crosstreck roof. Its worth looking at.
