Has anyone had trouble with livescope draining your cranking battery when everything is turned off? We have never turned off our master switch and never had a problem but last two times we have came down to fish cranking battery was basically dead. I don’t know if the black box is drawing power somehow even when it is off. Turned off master to see if it makes a difference. Hoping it gets charged tonight and we don’t have to trade out battery in morning. Battery is brand new when we bought new boat this year

Had a similar problem with 360. Added a power switch and isolated all graphs/accy to that circuit.

a lot of electronics are constant draw. I’m betting there is a blurb in the manual about the need to isolate.

They say it will constantly draw a little bit. Mine has never drained my battery a bit. Ive tested my battery, left for a week and came back and it hadn't drained at all. Garmin does recommends putting it on a separate switch so you can turn it off though

My brand new (2021) Ranger Z519 wired at the factory had the power to the black box coming from the console switch box.  The wire was too small so the dealer wired 8 gauge back to the starting battery as it is suppose to be per the Garmin installation drawing.  There is a master switch in the back compartment were the batteries are which switches off power from the battery and connects the charger.  Therefore power is removed from the black box and I do not loss any settings.

I would think that you would want to remove power as the black box gets darn hot - more so when the transducer is turned, so disconnecting seems like the thing to do.
