I waded an area upstream from the Cotter access this morning and got this guy. I was fishing a Y2K with a ruby midge dropper and he took the Y2K.

Also there was a BUNCH of boats on the river this morning. Strange that there were very few Thursday and Friday.

I almost pulled my boat over there from Taney yesterday.  If the dam area was open I would have.

Plenty of nice fish being caught, even though the C & R below Bull Shoals  is closed. These are pics that my jig customers have sent the last couple weeks and the top two are from today.  The top one is a 23” brown.

Yeah but it’s already far enough from Taney for a turn around trip.
