I'm guessing from the lack of reports the fishing has been pretty bad this fall and early winter. I have to believe the lakes have been hit pretty hard with people headed to the lake to "get away" from this virus. Has pressure been heavier than normal? I went once in April and haven't been since.

I saw lots of people earlier but the last few trips to Cape Fair there have only been a few rigs in the lot and not many boats out.  I have been between Carra and Buttermilk.  It seem most people on here are more into philosophizing and what not instead of fishing.

i see plenty of boats out every time i am on the lake.  i am not for sure anyone works anymore.  you have to do a whole lot of hunting to find anything.  lots of bits and pieces of shad out in the main lake that are 60 to 80 feet deep.  do not see much bait up shallow.

My wife and I were out Saturday around big m area to mill creek, only saw a few bass boats and couple pontoons all day. Fishing was pretty good.

Saw your pics, looked like a fun day for you two. Cheese had a good day up the James on a stickbait so maybe things aren’t so doom and gloom after all. Either that or your all a bunch of sandbaggers!
